Compliance and Governance
The progress to net zero is reported through the NGH Sustainable Development Committee which meets quarterly, and in quarterly meetings with the ICB. It is also reported publicly via the Trust’s Annual Report.
Information relating to Estates and Facilities is collected through ERIC (Estates Return Information Collection) and the Greener NHS Data collections.
An external audit of the carbon emissions as well as other sustainability initiatives will be carried out as part of the Investors in the Environment Accreditation process.
Membership of NPAG groups, attendance at NHS workshops and events will ensure that the appropriate staff at NGH are aware of any changes in guidance or legislation.
