Members of the public, patients, volunteers, colleagues and stakeholders are invited to join University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN) for our Annual Members' Meeting (AMM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 23 September, from 5pm to 7pm, at the Prince William Education Centre (PWEC), Kettering General Hospital.

The event offers a chance to hear first-hand about the progress being made across Northampton General Hospital and Kettering General Hospital, including improvements to services, quality of care, patient experience and future plans for our hospitals and local communities.

Attendees will hear from senior leaders about UHN's achievements over the past year, the challenges we have faced and our priorities for the year ahead. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about how we are continuing to invest in our hospitals, develop services and improve care for patients across Northamptonshire.

A special highlight of the evening will be a guest presentation from Nicola Lee, Chair of UHN's Organ Donation Committee. Nicola will share her family's moving organ donation journey following the loss of her daughter, Miriam, and reflect on the life-changing impact organ donation can have on patients and families. Her inspiring story also highlights the importance of having conversations about organ donation wishes with your loved ones.

Alongside the formal meeting, visitors will be able to explore a range of stalls showcasing services and improvement projects from across UHN, with opportunities to meet staff, ask questions and learn more about patient care. Guests can also visit a stall hosted by the Kettering General Hospital nurses behind an innovative life support training programme for teachers, where they can take part in practical demonstrations, pick up basic lifesaving tips and discover how simple actions can make a vital difference in an emergency.

There will be opportunities throughout the event to ask questions, share your views and find out more about the future of your local hospitals.

We look forward to welcoming you on 23 September for an informative and inspiring evening celebrating the people, services and achievements that make University Hospitals of Northamptonshire special.
