Corby Community Diagnostic Centre, Broadleaf House. Willow Brook Road Corby NN17 2FD 

The Community Diagnostic Centre is an extension of services provided by Kettering General Hospital in partnership with Alliance Medical. It provides a wide range of pre-booked diagnostic services, no walk in appointments are undertaken. These including:

  • Cardiac Investigations; Echocardiogram, Ambulatory Holters,12 lead electrocardiogram (ECG) and Ambulatory BPs
  • Phlebotomy; blood tests. To find out more about how to book a blood test
  • Radiology;  Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerised Tomography (CT) and Obstetric Ultrasound Imaging
  • Respiratory; Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Spirometry with Bronchodilator Response, Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) and Sleep Studies

The Community Diagnostic Centre is easily accessible by car and offers free parking as well as electric vehicle charging points. 

Please allow time for parking.

Remember smoking is not allowed anywhere, on any Kettering General Hospital sites.

Travelling by car

The Corby Diagnostic Centre is based in Broadleaf House on Willowbrook Road, which can be accessed via Westcott Way.
 
Free car parking is available on site.

Travelling by local public transport

Number 1 bus (Kingsthorpe – Town Centre – Beanfield) runs along Willowbrook Road to the community diagnostic centre..

Reclaiming the cost of your journey

You may be eligible for reimbursement of your travel expenses under the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS) if you are in receipt of at least one of the following:
  • Income Support
  • Employment Support Allowance  (Income related not contributory related)
  • Working Family Tax Credit or Child Tax Credits
  • Exemption certificate (HC2/HC3 form) the patient must be named on form
  • Job Seekers Allowance (Income based)
  • Disabled persons tax credit
  • Pension Credit guaranteed
  • Universal Credit (eligibility criteria)
Public Transport Costs 
Bus fares and train fares are fully reimbursed when a valid receipt is produced.
Voluntary Transport Schemes
Travel costs incurred through certain voluntary transport schemes are refundable when a valid receipt is produced.

For reimbursement payment to be made, you will need:-
  • Proof of receiving a benefit (as listed above and dated within the last 12 months).
  • Appointment letter/internal form or appointment card, which must be stamped by the department stating the date visited together with an authorised signature. 
  • Travel ticket/receipt and/or car parking ticket.
Taxi Costs
Taxi fares are not reimbursed.
