Midwifery

We are extremely proud of our Midwifery team who have gained successful accreditations including the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative.

With our very high standards of care for all pregnant women and new mothers we feel this is an exciting time to begin your career with the Maternity Services department.

Roles in this area include Healthcare Assistant, Maternity Support Worker and Midwife.

I’ve been an employee of the trust for a number of years and have had the opportunity during this time to progress in my career.

I can honestly say I feel very honoured to have found a profession I love and feel this has been further realised by the support from KGH.

Having a supportive work family is so important as we actually send a considerable amount of time at work. Being valued and heard defiantly impacts positively on the service we provide and reflects in the care we give.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a career in the NHS and at KGH
