Experiencing unprecedented demand for our services this weekend

Our hospital is experiencing unprecedented demand for our services this weekend, now more than ever we need your support to ensure our staff can care for those who need emergency care, such as choking, chest pain, loss of consciousness, serious blood loss, serious injury.

If you have a minor injury or illness or need urgent treatment Corby Urgent Care Centre is here for you.

If you have a medical concern that is not an emergency, please contact NHS 111 who can give you the right advice and direct you to the right service.

Thank you for your support ❤️

Why not Join the NHS Retirement Fellowship – Younger or Older you won’t be out of place!

Are you about to retire from the NHS / a job in Social / Private Health Care or have you already done so? Maybe you are a volunteer – we’d love to welcome you too!

Do you want to stay in touch or renew your acquaintance with colleagues past?
We are open to all who have ever been associated with our caring professions from floor to Board and anywhere in between!

If the answer to either of these questions is “YES” then do think seriously about joining the flourishing Kettering & District Branch of the NHS Retirement Fellowship and come for a £2 “taster” at one of our regular meetings. Why not bring a friend along too?

Our Pre-Pandemic meeting place at KGH is still “out of bounds” to us and our meetings have now resumed at St. Andrews Church Rooms, Rockingham Road, Kettering (access via Crown Street) on the second Monday of each month at 2.15pm, to be entertained by a visiting speaker and the chance to catch up with friends and ex-colleagues over a cup of tea and biscuit when the meeting is over.

We have members from many of Kettering’s neighbouring towns and villages and our new meeting place is more accessible for all with its own free car park and buses directly outside.
You will have the opportunity to take part in the many events planned for the coming months; theatre trips; visits to places of interest; many opportunities for eating and drinking and, of course, our now legendary Weekend Away!

You will also receive your own copy of the Kettering Branch  Newsletter which you can preview here.

Don’t delay, make contact with our Secretary Eileen Smith, 01536 515460 or our Treasurer Cyril Young 01536 392065 TODAY and see what you have been missing!

We hope to meet you very soon!
