Pathology

Pathology is the science of the cause and effect of disease. It involves the testing of blood, other bodily fluids and tissue for diagnosis, disease screening, and to influence decisions made on treatment and monitoring. Most diagnoses could not be made without pathology tests.

Pathology departments include Andrology, Biochemistry, Blood Transfusion, Bereavement Service, Cellular Pathology (Cytology & Histology),  Haematology, Immunology and Microbiology.
