X-Ray

An X-ray is a medical imaging procedure that takes images of the inside of the body, particularly bones. This is used to diagnose various conditions and injuries. 

X-Ray opening times

Kettering General Hospital 

24 hours a day for emergencies

Pre booked appointments are available between 8:30am till 3:45pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)

Corby Urgent Care

8.00am till 8.00pm 7 days a week for referrals from the Corby urgent care.

Pre booked appointments are available between 8:30am till 5.00pm 7 days a week (excluding bank holidays)

Nene Park

9.00am till 4:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)

Isebrook Hospital

9.00am till 4:30pm Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays)

GP walk-in chest x-ray service

This service is  carried out at  Kettering General Hospital, Nene Park and Isebrook Hospital. Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.00pm.  

What to wear when coming to your appointment

If possible, please wear loose comfortable clothes, as you may be able to wear these during the X-ray. Try to avoid wearing jewellery and clothes containing metal (such as zips), as these will need to be removed and you will be provided with a gown.
