Patient COVID Vaccinations

COVID Vaccine at KGH 22.01.2021
KGH have been vaccinating NHS staff and those working in the care sector since early January.

New national guidance now means that we are able to offer the Pfizer COVID vaccine to our out-patients who are aged 70 and above.

If you are aged 70+ and are due to attend an out-patient appointment at KGH, the team will contact you to discuss having the vaccine.

You do not need to contact them; the team will call you directly. This will be from a with-held number.

The team will know your name and the date and time of your out-patient appointment, however they will ask for additional information from you to ensure they’re talking to the right person.

The COVID vaccine is free to all. You will never be asked to pay for the vaccine.

The vaccine provided will be the Pfizer vaccine.  It is delivered in two doses. If you chose to have your vaccine at KGH, you will need to have the second vaccine here too.

You may be contacted by your GP for your COVID vaccine too. If you chose to have your vaccine with your GP, you will need to have the second vaccine there too.
