An incredible home-made ball gown astonished members of a prostate cancer support group when they realised it was made entirely of their own ties!

Members of Kettering and District Prostate Cancer Support Group had no idea what their ties were going to be used for when they responded to a request to donate them.

There has been a lot of information in the news recently about Group A Streptococcus sometimes called Group A Strep or GAS, and children becoming seriously unwell. Some of these children have unfortunately become seriously unwell very quickly.

With winter viruses circulating here is what you need to know about GAS and Scarlet Fever and what to do if your child is poorly. As a parent, if you feel that your child seems seriously unwell, you should trust your own judgement and seek medical help from your GP, NHS 111 or A&E.

KGH gets go ahead to prepare for rebuild

KGH has received the go-ahead to start enabling works to prepare for our planned multi-million pound rebuild.

The hospital has received written confirmation from the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England that it can begin to access millions of pounds in capital.
