MR1150 AMM July 16 2019

A chance to tour Kettering General Hospital’s new Maxillo-Facial Unit, Simulation Suite and Dementia Garden are all available at the Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday, July 16.

The tours are just one of a number of activities and opportunities to find out more about the hospital, its services and its plans for the future.

The Annual Members’ Meeting is being held in the Prince William Lecture Theatre at the main hospital site from 3.30pm-7pm. Anyone who attends the event will receive a ticket enabling them to park for £1.

You do not need to be a member of Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to attend.

At 3.30pm – in front of the Trust’s main reception – the hospital is holding a launch event for its new Patient Buggy Service which will enable people with mobility issues to be transported from our car parks to the main hospital site in a golf buggy.

Back in the Prince William Education Centre – from 4pm -6pm – the hospital has a variety of health information stands on topics such as rheumatology, chronic pain, cardiology, diabetes and dermatology.

The stands are manned by specialist staff and will enable members of the public to get advice and information on hospital services.

The Trust’s recruitment services department will also be on hand to discuss career opportunities at the hospital.

From 6pm-7pm the Trust will hold its formal Annual Members’ Meeting which anyone can attend.

The meeting will receive the Trust’s annual report and accounts and quality report. These can also be accessed on the hospital’s website www.kgh.nhs.uk

For more information about the event members of the public can contact Donna Burnett on 01536-492169 or email donna.burnett@kgh.nhs.uk
