Multi-Disciplinary Diabetic Foot Team
The Multi-Disciplinary Diabetic Foot Team are based at the Diabetes Community Centre at Kettering General Hospital. It is part of the Diabetic and High Risk Foot service provided by Northamptonshire Health Foundation Trust.
Providing a service for diabetic patients whose feet are at the highest risk, with current acute foot problems such as ulceration and infection. The Team is built around NICE guideline NG19 using a Multi-Disciplinary approach to the treatment of patients. Clinics often therefore include Specialist Diabetic Podiatrists Diabetic Consultants, Anti-Microbial Pharmacists and Vascular Consultants.
Clinics
Clinics are held Monday through to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 excluding bank holidays.
Services
Services are provided for the following:-
- Acute foot problems including ulceration and infection.
