Information for patients
We pride ourselves on giving individualised patient care, we have adopted a ‘listen to me’ campaign on the ward which is there to support our patients and relatives, encouraging them to voice any concerns they may have. Our patient experience feedback is excellent, all patient feedback is welcomed, to drive service improvement.
We have protected meal times, this helps to encourage the nutrition and well being of our patients.
We have a consultant ward round daily. All patients who have been assessed as ready for discharge will normally be transferred to the hospital discharge lounge, this enables a streamlined discharge home.
Mobiles phones can be used on the ward with discretion and respect for other patients in the bay. We would advise you not to bring any valuables in hospital with you, all valuables will remain the responsibility of the patient.
