Lilford Ward (Haematology)
Lilford Ward is a nine bedded inpatient facility specialising in the care of haematology patients. In addition to the inpatient facility, the unit also provide day case service support. The day case service is the designated treatment facility in the Trust for Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) and Intrathecal (spinal Chemotherapy). As well as the ward services, the Acute Malignant Haemato-Oncology Outreach Service offers support and advise on specialist acute oncology care to patients across all wards and departments. Lilford Ward also supports the hospitals' cancer of unknown primary and Metastasis of unknow origin (CUP/MUO) pathways.

Information for visitors
Please do not attend the facility with young children.
Please do not attend the facility if you are suffering from a cold, flu like symptoms, diarrhoea, vomiting or have an infection.
There are no laundry facilities on the ward, friends and family are asked to support patients with laundry requirements.
The ward rooms have small fridges for the use of patients.
