Antenatal Care

Your Community Team and Antenatal Visit Schedule

You will be cared for by a team of midwives in the community. Some women and pregnant people may fit into the criteria and/or catchment area of some of our Continuity Teams. Your community midwife may see you at home or invite you to appointments at a clinic near you.

Antenatal Screening

You will be offered many screening tests during your pregnancy, and some in the postnatal period for your baby. Whether you have these tests or not is up to you and you can watch the video below for further information to help you decide. You will also receive information from your community midwife and can ask them for further details.
