NHS Virtual Visiting on Wards

Virtual Visiting is available Monday to Friday between 9.30am - 3.00pm. Please book directly with the ward.
Whilst the Trust and NHS tackle Covid-19 and flu, we have had to take the very difficult and upsetting decision to suspend patient visiting to the wards. To help at this time, we have enabled the use of NHS Virtual Visiting on a number of devices that can be used to see and talk to your loved one whilst in our care.
We have chosen NHS Virtual Visiting as it can be used on any Apple or Android device as well as laptops and PCs. You will need to ensure you have a webcam and microphone that you can use, although most laptops and PCs will have this already built in as do almost all Apple or Android devices. You don’t need to downloaded any apps, you will be sent a text message or email with a link to the Virtual Visit chat.
The current list of wards using NHS Virtual Visiting are: Barnwell B Ward, Barnwell C Ward, Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Clifford Ward, Cranford Ward, Deene Acute Surgical Unit (DASU), Deene B Ward, Deene C Ward, Emergency Department, Geddington Ward, Harrowden A Ward, Harrowden C Ward, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Lamport Ward, Lilford Ward, Maple Ward, Middleton Assessment Unit (MAU), Naseby A Ward, Naseby B Ward, Pretty A Ward, Pretty B Ward, Skylark Ward, Poplar Ward and Twywell Ward.
