The hospital has four entrances three for car access and one for pedestrians only. Entrance 1 is at the top of the hill on Rothwell Road leading down to entrance 4 just before the railway bridge.

Leave A14 at Junction 7
Head towards Kettering Town Centre (right hand lane leaving A14)
Pass crematorium on left.
Entrance 1 – At mini roundabout take right hand turn into hospital, past Ambulance Station to car parks.
Entrance 2 – Go straight over the roundabout on to Rothwell Road and take the first turning on your right.
Entrance 4 - Go straight over the roundabout on to Rothwell Road and take the fifth turning on your right just before the railway bridge.
Car Parking Information
Car parks are barrier controlled. A ticket is issued on entry, and the appropriate charge collected on exit. The ticket machines give change and accept notes. There is a cash machine opposite the WRVS shop, near Main Reception.

There are a number of parking spaces allocated for dropping off and collecting patients which are free of charge limited to 20 minutes.
Where patients are in hospital for a week or more, a voucher can be obtained for reduced car parking charges. To obtain a voucher you need a letter from the patients ward manager which you need to present to the car parking office.

Use of controlled car parks for the discounted rate of £1 - just present your entry ticket and blue badge at the Car Park Office on the corner of Car Park A, then pay £1 to receive an exit ticket.

Street Shuttle buses X1 (Corby) and 17 (Lake Avenue) provide a regular service from the Town Centre with bus stops directly outside the Hospital. Stagecoach bus numbers 19 (Rothwell and Desborough), 39 (Northampton, Moulton, Holcot, Old, Mawsley and Broughton) also stop outside the Hospital. Kettering Railway Station is on the Midland Main Line (St. Pancras - Sheffield). The station is approximately 1 mile from the Hospital (follow road signs to General Hospital) and is approximately 20 minutes walk. Taxis are generally available from the station forecourt.
