Cranford ward is a 29 bedded general medical ward situated on the 4th floor of the main ward block.
It has one side room.
 

Our Team

Consultant: Dr Ajmal Raoof
The Ward sister is supported by three deputy sisters, registered nurses and healthcare assistants.
It also includes an administration assistant, a discharge co-ordinator, ward clerks, housekeepers, therapy and support teams.
 

What to bring with you?

Please bring in all your current medications in labelled boxes.
 
Along with a supply of day and night wear including slippers and outside footwear.  We try to encourage our patients to spend time out of bed during the day; wearing day clothes where possible and safe to do so. 
 
Together with a supply of toiletries – although a limited supply is available from the hospital shop.
 
Please do not bring valuables or large amounts of money into hospital with you as the Trust cannot accept responsibility if these personal items get lost or damaged.
 

Information for Visitors

Each morning our doctors conduct a board round, visiting each of their patients. If you would like an update on your loved one, please contact the ward after 11.00am you will receive the latest post board round information.
 
As a relative, if you wish to discuss your loved one's medical condition with a doctor, if you are able to do this after 2.00pm under normal circumstances a doctor will be available to take your call.
