In addition the Trust would you like you to note that the LNR Cervical Cytology Collaborative applies the rules on underage smears as per the direction of the National Health Service Cervical Screening Programme. The patients on these lists fall into 3 categories some have been called at 24 1/2 years of age, others were already on recall and a few were private patients.  For 10/11 only 5 cases were reported out with  these parameters. Unfortunately, the request does not ask for this additional information, without it the results may be misleading.
